Why Women Live Longer Than Men

People believe that women are weaker than men pointed at their physical appearance. Women cannot do what men do and they tend to do simple things which are worthless than men. However, the evidences have shown that in the real fact, women can be stronger than men in any condition.

These following evidences are reasons why women live longer:

1.      Women have wider social networks
Women are sociable persons who easily make friends with the other women. Women tend to tell what they have experienced to their friends, such as their personal problems, relationship, and so on. In this way, women have much support from their friends and it can reduce and avoid their pressure. Dr. Legato states that women can live longer because they have more social connections than men. Men tend to be undemonstrative. They rarely tell to the other when they have a problem and this leads them in depression and pressure. Just like when having broken heart, women share their problem with their friends and it will reduce their depression while men are unlike women, they tend to demonstrate and express their feeling through their physical strength, can be fight or take an action. When a man loses his female partner, it means he is in trouble. Ohio State University psychologist Janice Kiecolt-Glaser states that 40% men die because of broken heart.

2.      Men have heart disease earlier than women
Heart disease is the biggest enemy for men and women. Women have heart disease 10 years  later than men. Most men have heart disease at the age of 30s or 40s while women have longer live because they are protected by their estrogen and it will keep them until they get menopause. Dr. Legato voices that the estrogen helps keep the blood flow in their body and keep the artery strong.

3.      Women have much more attention to their health than men
Women tend to be protective in keeping their health. They often visit to the doctor regularly to check up their health. While men have less attention to their health. According to the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, 22% men ten to ignore their cholesterol testing and 24% less likely than women.

4.      Men are much bolder than women
Inadvertence injuries most likely belong to men and it leads them to the death. Men’s brains work slowly than women. Men tend to do more risky works than women and they do not care about it. The frontal lobes of the brains which handle the resposibility and risk calculation develops slowly in men.

5.      Testosterone storm
Young men in their late teens, their hormone can be changeable, unstable and quiet high. This leads teens to be careless in their actions. Most young men never pay attention to what they do in their lives, such as ignoring the safety belt when they are driving, drinking too much alcohol, do anything that may harm them and  they can be even so aggressive and dangerous when they are disturbed. This leads them to the death rate.
