Get Your Sleep Back: avoiding insomnia



Do you have a problem with your sleep? Do you always open your eyes in the night though you don’t want to? Do you always have your sleeping pills with you? Well, you don’t need to do that anymore, many people face the same problem that they can’t sleep properly during the night and they don’t know what to do. Actually there is no problem can’t be solved. Here are the steps for you to get a proper sleep.


1.      Say good bye to the afternoon coffee
Morning coffee is ok but getting your a cup of coffee all day isn’t ok. People think that caffeine has five hours influence so that you can sleep after that. Actually it’s not always right, the stimulant is gone after seven hours and there is still around 25% of it in your body. It also increases your urination during the night which will bother your sleep.
       
2.      Do exercise
Doing simple exercise regularly like walking, jogging or aerobics can improve your sleep, because it kicks out your stress and tension during the day activities. However, don’t do exercise too close to your bedtime, it will make you stay awake because your adrenaline will take hours to get normal again. So, get your exercise daily.

3.      Sex before sleep
We can’t deny that many men collapse after sex and there will be a good thing in it. After intercourse, men’s body will be showered by prolactin, the hormone which also improves naturally during sleeping. After getting orgasm, it looks like they release the hormone that makes them feel sleepy, it is called oxytocin which also relates to sleep. Within minutes men will be snoring of course, but in this case, women have more oxytocin that may be good for you too during your sleep.

4.      Get away from your phone
The thing that makes your sleep go worse is your gadgets. So get them away from your hands if you want to sleep soundly. The blue wavelength which is produced by your phone will reduce the production of melatonin, it is a hormone that makes you feel sleepy. Moreover, the light-emmiting devices in your gadgets will also influence and burden your mind so that you have a poorer sleep.

5.      Smell some roses
Aromatherapy is a good way to improve your sleep. It can be done by yourself with aromatherapy oil, just drip it on your toilet paper and hold it to your nose, take a deep breath and smell it. And when you are getting peeved caused by your work, you can try with lavender. Those are the better ways to get you calm down and will throw your heavy tension and of course you will have restorative sleep.

6.      Do yoga
Some simple yoga movements are beneficial to bring you to a deep sleep. Like corpse pose and happy baby pose, yoga teachers suggest that the inversions of shoulder stand is the way to fade your qualm. Those yoga poses will help you throw your sleep problem.


7.      Get relax before sleep
After coming home, you can bath with warm water and listen to gentle music that will help you calm your mind down and feel peaceful. Just don’t think about your work, imagine that you are in the finest condition like lying in the prairie with many butterflies flying upon you and sound of singing birds. Make your mind drift and forget about your busy activities.
