Benefits of Laughter




Laugh is an expression that is done by humans to depict their feelings. People laugh when they feel happy or do something fun. It is the most wonderful way when they are experiencing it because there will be no pressure, tension and anything else. Laugh also brings people to some advantages. Here are some advantages of laugh:

1.      Reduce stress level
Laughter will reduce your stress hormone level. When you laugh, the production of stress hormone level is also cut at the same time. The reduction of stress hormone level in your body will also produce immune system performance that makes you stay healthy. Laughing with your friends at work is also a little thing you can do to make your stress released, talk something funny and you can gain more health benefits.

        
2.      Easy workout
When you laugh, your muscles in your stomach can contract and expand just like when doing an exercise, meanwhile, the muscle which are not used to laugh will relax, it is recommended to add laughter in your daily activity.

3.      Reduce the blood sugar level
Just imagine after you have lunch, then you have such a boring lecture in your college, and what can you do? You feel sleepy and get tedious because you are just listening and sitting in the class. The next day you eat the same meal as your lunch, and then you watch comedy on TV and you laugh. This will reduce the sugar level more than having your tedious lecture.


4.      Blood flow
When you laugh while watching a comedy, your blood vessels will contract and expand easily, then it flows in your body normally. However, when you watch drama, your blood vessels tend to tense and restrict the blood flow.

5.      Release the Endorphins
Endorhins are natural pain killer in human’s body. When you laugh, your endorphins will release easily which can help you heal your illness. And make you feel much better.
